3D Modeling and graphic design

00:01:35:09

Introduction

I've always been fascinated by the world of graphic design, video editing, and 3D modeling. Growing up with watching visual effects in movies and playing tons of video games, I was eager to learn the techniques behind those mesmerizing effects and the intricacies of creating models and games. My love for the "low poly art style" was ignited by countless hours spent on the Nintendo 64, leading me to pursue learning modern 3D modeling to replicate this nostalgic style.

Exploring the Toolbox

Throughout my journey, I've had my hands on various tools, each with its unique perks and limitations. Here are a few that stand out:

  • GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program): A cornerstone in my graphic design journey, GIMP was instrumental in crafting hundreds of t-shirt designs. Its robust features for image manipulation have made it an indispensable tool in my arsenal, one I continue to rely on.
  • Cinema4D: When it comes to 3D modeling, Cinema4D offered the intuitive interface and powerful capabilities that helped bring my ideas to life.
  • InkScape: A fantastic vector graphics editor that served as a great complement to my design workflow.
  • Adobe Suite: The comprehensive features of Adobe’s software were essential for both graphic design and video editing projects.
  • Sony Vegas: An excellent video editing software that allowed for creative storytelling through visuals and sound.

These tools have shaped my creative journey, and I'm always excited to share insights or dive deeper into my experiences with them. Feel free to reach out if you’re curious about any specific software or want to see more of my work.
